  • Sydney Opera House

    1992 — 1995

    Sydney Opera House

    Removal and replacement of 18,200 lineal metres of asbestos containing expansion jointing from the exterior of the Opera House sails. Removal and replacement of 1,050 tiles from the Opera House sails.

    1999 — 2007

    Sydney Opera House / St Hilliers / Trilogy

    Removal of asbestos products from various locations throughout the Opera House including the removal and disposal of asbestos insulation from around the air conditioning fire dampers without disruption to the normal operations of the Opera House.

  • Customs House - Alfred Street Sydney

    1997

    Traditional Stonemasonry Company

    Removal and disposal of 3,500 lineal metres of asbestos mortar from between the sandstone joints of the building.
     

    Circular Quay Railway Station

    2004

    Traditional Stonemasonry Company

    Removal and disposal of 13,000 lineal metres of asbestos mortar from between the granite facing panels whilst the railway station remained operational.

    Transport House

    2007

    Traditional Stonemasonry Company

    Removal and disposal of 4,400 lineal metres of asbestos mortar from between the sandstone joints of the building.

    NSW Department of Commerce

    Various asbestos removal projects mainly consisting of the removal and disposal of asbestos pipe insulation, asbestos cement products, contaminated soil and landscaping works at more than 100 schools in Sydney.

    2005

    Fowler Caroma

    Removal and disposal of 28,000m2 of asbestos cement roof and wall sheeting from occupied warehouse and offices at Wetherill Park and the decontamination of internal areas.

    Camden Sewage Treatment Plant

    2004

    Sydney Water Corporation

    Removal and disposal of 11,700 tonnes of asbestos contaminated soil from West Camden sewerage treatment plant and remediation of the site.

    Devon Street, Rosehill

    2006 — 2007

    CIP / Mainland Civil

    Removal and disposal of 9,700 tonnes of asbestos contaminated soil from Rosehill and remediation of affected areas.

    Northern Distributor Extension

    2007 — 2009

    Reed Group Australia

    Removal and disposal of 14,000 tonnes of asbestos contaminated soil from the Northern Distributor Extension, Woonona.

    Removal of asbestos cement roofs, walls, eaves linings, electrical switch boards, asbestos pipe insulation.

    HMAS Kutabull

    2006 — 2008

    Removal of asbestos containing putty material from windows, asbestos pipe insulation, asbestos cement walls and ceilings.

    HMAS Penguin

    Removal of asbestos from various buildings and remediation of contaminated soils from the sub floor area's of buildings.

  • Randwick Army Barracks

    1999 — 2009

    GHD / Fitzwalter / Olympia Group / Brisland

    Relocating stockpiled asbestos contaminated soil (20,000 tonnes) to a new location, reform stockpile and fence. Removal and disposal of 1,300 tonnes of asbestos contaminated soil ‘General Solid’ and replace with validated topsoil, grass seed and maintain. Removal and disposal of ‘Restricted Solid’ asbestos containing soil. Removal and disposal of 100,000m2 of asbestos cement roof and wall sheeting.
